THE ICEHOGS AND MARLIES ANNOUNCE CONFERENCE FINALS SLATE

Rockford to host Games 3, 4 and 5 at the MetroCentre

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs and Toronto Marlies, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, announced the schedule for the Calder Cup Playoff’s Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night.

The Marlies have the home-ice advantage for the best-of-seven series and the winner will move on the Calder Cup Finals. The series is set to kick off with Game 1 at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto on Friday, May 16. All games in Rockford will be played at the Rockford MetroCentre.

The following is the schedule for the Western Conference Finals:

Game 1: Friday, May 16 Rockford at Toronto, 6:30 p.m.
Game 2: Sunday, May 18 Rockford at Toronto, 3 p.m.
Game 3: Tuesday, May 20 Toronto at Rockford, 7:05 p.m. (Ticket “F”)
Game 4: Thursday, May 22 Toronto at Rockford, 7:05 p.m. (Ticket “G”)
Game 5: Friday, May 23 Toronto at Rockford, 7:30 p.m.* (Ticket “H”)
Game 6: Sunday, May 25 Rockford at Toronto, 3 p.m.*
Game 7: Tuesday, May 27 Rockford at Toronto, 6:30 p.m.*

The winner of the Western Conference Finals will move on to play the winner of the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins-Portland Pirates Eastern Conference Finals.

Next Home Game: Tuesday, May 20 vs. Toronto Marlies. (Game 3) The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. The Western Conference Finals shifts to the MetroCentre as the IceHogs and Marlies face-off in Game 3. The game is the first of potentially three straight contests at the MetroCentre.
