TERAVAINEN AND DAHLBECK SENT TO ROCKFORD
Pair joins IceHogs training camp from Chicago
Chicago, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have assigned forward Teuvo Teravainen and defenseman Klas Dahlbeck to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Teravainen is entering his first full professional season in North America. The Helsinki, Finland native appeared in three games with the Blackhawks and five with Rockford, notching a pair of goals, after completing his third season with Jokerit Helsinki (SM-liiga).
Dahlbeck was recalled to the Blackhawks on Thursday and skated in Friday's exhibition contest in New York against the Rangers. The d-man was named Rockford's co-Defenseman of the Year last season in his second AHL campaign after posting 10g-25a-35pts.
Rockford's training camp roster now stands at 22 players including 14 forwards, seven defenseman and one goalie.
