Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs kick off a busy stretch of December home games this weekend with Central Division matchups against the Milwaukee Admirals and San Antonio Rampage. SATURDAY, DEC. 1 vs. MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS

Time: Puck drop is at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Teddy Bear Toss: Fans are encouraged to bring in plush toys/animals to throw onto the ice after the IceHogs score their first goal of the game Saturday. The stuffed animals will then be collected and donated to local hospitals and kids charities. The Hogs collected and donated more than 3,700 stuffed animals during last year's event.

In addition to bears brought in by fans, Chicago Blackhawks Senior Director of Minor League Affiliations, Mark Bernard, will donate 25 bears (one bear for each goal the IceHogs scored in the month of November) as part of his annual “Bernie’s Bears” challenge. Fans interested in participating in the challenge are invited to match Bernard's donation and bring 25 bears to Saturday night’s game.

NOTE: The Teddy Bear Toss is an exclusion from the IceHogs’ game-day clear-bag policy. Fans may bring other bags to carry the stuffed animals, with all baggage subject to inspection upon entrance to the arena.

Red Kettle Night: The IceHogs will be teaming up with the Salvation Army on Saturday for Red Kettle Night. The Salvation Army will have bell ringers on the concourse to collect donations throughout the evening, and fans who make a donation of at least $20 will receive a free ticket voucher for any remaining IceHogs home game in the 2018-19 season.

The Salvation Army Band will also be on-hand to treat fans to live music in the Blue Flame Lounge prior to puck drop on Saturday.

Hops and Hogs: Saturday’s contest marks the second “Hops and Hogs” night of the season. For just $22, fans can purchase this package to receive an upper-end zone ticket and two beer tickets. The beer tickets can be redeemed Saturday at River City, Blue Flame Grill or Goose Island Deck on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse for a choice of Budweiser or Bud Light beer. Alcohol sales will be available during Saturday's game through the end of the second intermission.

Tickets for “Hogs & Hops” can be purchased in-person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or by calling the IceHogs front office at (815) 986-6465.
