Seven game homestand continues tonight
Rockford, Ill.- A season high seven-game homestand continues tonight for the Rockford IceHogs as they open a two-game weekend when the Milwaukee Admirals come to town at 7:05 p.m.
The weekend also includes the IceHogs annual Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday when Rockford faces off against the Oklahoma City Barons for the first time ever at 7:05 p.m. Also Saturday, the first 2,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs winter scarf courtesy of Mega Truck Rental and 97ZOK.
Fans are invited to bring new stuffed animals to the game on Saturday and when Rockford scores their first goal against the Barons, fans can toss the stuffed animals onto the ice. The stuffed animals will be collected and distributed by IceHogs players and staff members to local hospitals and non-profit organizations to brighten the holidays for kids in the Rockford area.

Friday’s game can be viewed in Rockford on Comcast Cable Channel-57 and Saturday is Hockey Night in Rockford on Rockford’s My Network TV digital sub-channel 17.2 or Comcast and Charter Cable Channel-16. Both games can be viewed on-line through ahllive.com.
Tonight’s game against Milwaukee is Rockford’s first home tilt against the Admirals on the campaign and second of 10 overall. Rockford knocked off the Ads 3-2 in a shootout in their only other matchup this season on Nov. 3 at the Bradley Center.
