Blues Flame Friday: Those 21-and-older can get their weekend started early at the BMO at the Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party. Matthew Gregory Jones will be performing while guests enjoy free appetizers and drink specials. Fans with a game ticket must enter through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm St. near the box office. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and only the first 150 will be permitted.
Sock Monkey Giveaway: The first 2,500 fans to enter the BMO will receive a sock monkey courtesy of Rock Valley Culligan.
Matchup: Rockford ends their eight-game home stand tomorrow night in the first game of a home-and-home series against Chicago this weekend. The IceHogs will look to Mark McNeill for offensive power against the Wolves. McNeill is hot, notching eight points (4g-4a) in seven-straight games, which ties Jake Dowell’s seven-long mark. Rockford currently leads the Illinois Lottery Cup series with nine points versus Chicago’s five points, while also holding a perfect home record (4-0-0-0) against the Wolves.
