SIKURA RECALLED BY BLACKHAWKS
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks today announced they have recalled forward Dylan Sikura from the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Sikura, 23, has recorded 30 points (13g, 17a) in 40 games this season with the IceHogs. He leads the team in both scoring and goals and has tallied a point in 23 of 40 contests with Rockford. The forward also boasts a current four-game point streak (1g, 3a) and departs the IceHogs ranked third among AHL rookies in shots (124) and tied for 13th in rookie scoring.
The Aurora, Ontario native last skated with Chicago on Jan. 3 at the New York Islanders. Overall, he has notched three assists in 11 games with the Blackhawks this season and six helpers in 16 career NHL contests over the last two years.
Sikura was originally selected by Chicago in the sixth round (178th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
