Rosemont, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs fell in overtime for the second straight game and fourth time in seven contests with a 3-2 overtime loss to the Chicago Wolves on Saturday night at the Allstate Arena.

With the IceHogs on a 4-on-3 man-advantage in the extra period, Andrew Agozzino stripped a puck away from Lars Johansson behind the net and flipped a backhand into the top corner of the cage to end the game on a shorthanded goal.

The IceHogs scored a pair of goals in quick succession in the second period. Sam Carrick knocked a shot through the legs of Ville Husso for a power-play strike, and just 1:22 later, Jeremy Langlois pounded a one-timer from the right circle inside the left post go give Rockford a 2-1 lead.

The Wolves answered with a power-play goal of their own before the end of the frame, however, as Samuel Blais forced a rebound over the line to knot the score, 2-2.

Emerson Clark provided the lone goal of the opening frame, taking a long pass from Conner Bleackley and racing down the left wing to slip a backhand shot past Johansson.
