SECOND EPISODE OF BACON BITS SET FOR SUNDAY
Monthly show to run on FOX 39 at 9:35 p.m.
Rockford, Ill.- The popular television show Bacon Bits makes its return for its second episode of the season on Sunday night. The magazine style show will air on FOX 39 at 9:35 p.m. on Sunday. The show is currently in its third season.
WTVO channel-17 Sports Director Scott Leber and Weekend Sports Anchor Vince Conway host the half-hour program. This month’s show includes a feature on IceHogs goalie Wade Flaherty, a behind the scenes look at how the new video board works at the Rockford MetroCentre and a look at the new EA sports NHL’08 video game that includes this season’s IceHogs.
Leber and Conway will also quiz IceHogs fans and test their knowledge about the AHL. Plus, some former IceHogs return to receive their Colonial Cup Championship rings from last season’s title run for the Hogs. The popular “Hogtied” segment returns as well, and this month’s guest is winger Troy Brouwer.
Overall, FOX 39 will air up to seven Bacon Bits episodes this season running through May.
Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 14 vs. Rochester Americans. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. Rockford is back on home ice to take on another North Division foe. Next Friday the IceHogs welcome the Rochester Americans to the MetroCentre for their first and only visit to Rockford during the 2007-08 regular season. ?The game is the second and final match-up between the two clubs in ‘07-08.
