Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, proud affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks, announced Thursday that the team will hold an open practice for fans on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Riverview Ice House in downtown Rockford.
The practice begins at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free of charge and seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Fans can watch IceHogs players go through various drills and prepare for team’s next game against the Charlotte Checkers on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 5:05 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
Riverview Ice House is located at 324 North Madison Street in Rockford.
Next Home Game: Sunday, Nov. 6 vs. Charlotte Checkers: The puck drops at 5:05 p.m. After a seven-day layoff, the IceHogs return to the ice to take on the Checkers for the first time ever when they meet at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The game is the first of eight on the season between the two clubs. The first 1,000 kids 14-and-under will receive an IceHogs puck courtesy of Vienna Beef. Also, don’t forget your skates as Sunday is this season’s first “Skate With the IceHogs” following the game.
