SAAD BOBBLEHEADS AND PLAYER CARDS THIS WEEKEND

Rockford, Ill.- With two games slated this weekend the Rockford IceHogs continue their four game home stretch as they host the Iowa Wild on Saturday night and the Utica Comets on Sunday afternoon.

Saturday’s tilt has a 7 p.m. puck drop with the first 2,500 fans receiving a Brandon Saad bobblehead courtesy of WIFR. Saad is the second of three bobbleheads in the Champions series debuting throughout the season.

After Saturday's tilt, all fans will be invited onto the ice to take a shot from center ice in the Papa John's pizza shoot for a chance to win a free pizza.

Sunday’s matinee game against Utica starts at 4 p.m. The first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a set of 2013-14 player cards compliments of the Rockford Register Star. Over 50 packs of player cards given out will contain prizes, including a pair of Blackhawks tickets, IceHogs club lounge tickets, a game worn jersey, and much more! Additionally, a select number of the card sets will already come autographed by the team.

After the game fans are encouraged to stick around for this seasons’ final, “Skate with the Hogs.” All fans that bring skates can go out on the ice to skate with and get autographs from their favorite players.

Sunday’s game is a Vienna Beef family value game. You can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas all for $59 when the Comets come to town for the first time in franchise history.
