Damon’s Grill, 755 Clark Road, will close its doors this week. The restaurant, best known for ribs and big-screen TVs, first opened in 2003. An employee who answered the phone today at the restaurant said the business will close Friday. A manager could not be reached for further comment. This year, the restaurant regularly hosted Rockford IceHogs fans to watch out-of-town hockey games on its big-screen TVs. Damon’s Grill corporate headquarters are in Columbus, Ohio.
