
ROSS SIGNS ATO WITH ICEHOGS

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Wednesday that forward Garret Ross signed an ATO with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Ross, 20, recently completed his fourth season with the Saginaw Spirit in the Ontario Hockey League. Saginaw’s captain finished the campaign setting career highs in goals (44), assists (46), points (90), penalty minutes (114) and plus/minus rating (+31). The forward’s 90 points were good for seventh in the OHL while his 44 markers ranked fourth best in the league.
In four seasons with the Spirit, Ross accumulated 82g-88a-170pts with 421 PIMs in 217 contests. The Dearborn Heights, Mich., native was selected by the Blackhawks in the fifth round (#139 overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
