Rogers Back On Radio For Hawks
The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that Jesse Rogers will be rejoining the radio broadcast team as the studio host for Blackhawks pre-game, between periods and post-game shows on WSCR-AM 670 beginning on December 19th.
"I'm very excited to get back doing the job I've enjoyed so much over the last few years. I'm looking forward to being part of the broadcast as the Blackhawks continue their turnaround on and off the ice. I am also very much looking forward to working with John Wiedeman and Troy Murray again. For all Blackhawks fans, we hope to bring you the best radio broadcast in town from the pre-game show to the end of the postgame."
“We are pleased that Jesse is rejoining our radio broadcast team,” said Blackhawks Executive Director of Communications, Broadcasting and Community Outreach Jim De Maria. “We have a great respect for his work and his enthusiasm for the Chicago Blackhawks. We feel that along with John Wiedeman and Troy Murray it gives us a solid radio broadcast.”
Rogers has been with WSCR from the station’s inception in 1992. He is currently both a reporter and on-air host. This will be his fifth season as a part of the Blackhawks radio broadcast team.
Rogers will join John Wiedeman and Troy Murray for the broadcast on Wednesday, December 19th when the Blackhawks host the Nashville Predators at the United Center at 7:30 p.m.
