ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford IceHogs head west to take on the Ontario Reign at Citizens Business Bank Arena Wednesday night.

Matchup: The IceHogs (19-15-1-2, 5th Central) enter tonight’s tilt riding a two-game point streak following a pair of shootout contests last weekend.

Forward Matthew Highmore has notched a goal in each of his last three games, and leads the team with 17g-9a-26pts in 2017-18. Fellow forward Anthony Louis netted the shootout winner in Saturday’s 4-3 victory over Cleveland, and follows with 5g-15a-20pts on the season. Netminder Collin Delia, a Rancho Cucamonga, CA native, stopped a career-high 29 pucks for his 2nd AHL win on Saturday.

Ontario (16-14-1-1, 6th Pacific) split a pair of games in Tucson last weekend, falling 4-3 to the Roadrunners on Saturday and winning 6-3 on Sunday.

Reign forward and scoring leader Mike Amadio has been one of the hottest players in the AHL as of late, currently boasting a 13-game point streak and posting 6g-17a-23pts in just his last 15 outings. Fellow forward Michael Mersch paces Ontario’s goal scoring with 12 tallies this season. NHL veteran Matt Moulson has logged only 13 games for the Reign in 2017-18, but ranks third in team scoring with 3g-15a-18pts in that span.

Next Home Game: The IceHogs take on the Bakersfield Condors on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The contest marks another Fas Fuel Winning Weekday in 2017-18. If the Hogs win, tickets from Tuesday’s game can be redeemed for a ticket of equal or lesser value to the following Fas Fuel Winning Weekdays game on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
