ROCKFORD READIES REVENGE IN ROSEMONT

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs travel to Rosemot for an Illinois Lottery Cup Series matchup with the Chicago Wolves on Sunday afternoon at the Allstate Arena.

Matchup: The IceHogs (29-24-3-4, 6th Central) have points in four of the last five games following a 2-1 shootout loss at the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday night. Rockford is 3-1-0-1 over those five contests and 4-2-0-1 over its last seven tilts since Feb. 18.
William Pelletier netted the Hogs’ lone goal in Milwaukee on Saturday to claim a share of fourth place in scoring for Rockford with 23 points on the season. Including last night’s goal, the forward has now tallied each of his last eight markers in road games, and nine of his 10 total goals while on the road during the 2017-18 campaign.
Goaltender Collin Delia also helped the IceHogs claim a point for his fifth consecutive appearance last night. The netminder is 4-0-0-1 during that five-game stretch with a 1.57 GAA and .939 save percentage.
Chicago (33-19-6-2, 2nd Central) snapped a six-game winning streak on Saturday with a 2-1 loss to the Manitoba Moose. Despite the setback, the Wolves remain dominant on their home ice and enter Sunday’s matinee with a record of 19-8-1-0 at Allstate Arena.
Forward T.J. Tynan leads Chicago in scoring and ranks fifth overall in the league with 52 points (12g, 40a) in 60 contests this year. Tynan has produced better than a point-per-game average over his last 20 contests, combining for a league high-tying 27 points (4g, 23a) over that stretch beginning Jan. 17.
In net, Kasimir Kaskisuo has appeared in 29 AHL games between Chicago (28 games) and Toronto (1 game). The goaltender is 14-13-2 on the season with an impressive 2.33 GAA and .916 save percentage on the year.
