The IceHogs run unbeaten streak to 10-straight games

Week 11 Recap
The IceHogs fought off a tough turnaround on Sunday to finish off its third consecutive unbeaten week. Rockford’s unbeaten streak now stands at 10 games and the club has moved into sole possession of first place in the West Division and has the most points in the Western Conference with 40.

Bacon Bits:
-Rockford is currently riding a season high 10-game unbeaten streak (8-0-0-2) dating back to 11/24/07.

-Rockford is all alone in first place in the West Division and has the most points in the Western Conference for the first time this season.

-Winger Kris Versteeg had his team season-high nine game point streak come to an end in San Antonio on Sunday.

-Center Martin St. Pierre extended his point streak to eight games on Sunday with two assists.

-Goalie Corey Crawford put together a season-high shutout streak of 119:26 including his second shutout of the season on Saturday againstQuadCity.

-Crawford is 5-0-0-0 in his last five home starts and has allowed only three goals.

-The Hogs puck-stopper’s overall numbers over that five game stretch is 5-0-0-0 with a .980 save percentage and a goals against average of 0.60.

-The IceHogs drew their second sellout of the season on Sunday.

-Winger Troy Brouwer notched his 100th career professional point with a goal on Sunday in San Antonio.

-Brouwer leads the AHL with 12 power-play goals.

-Rockford will play their AHL high 20th road game of the season on Tuesday in San Antonio.

-The IceHogs have an AHL best home record of 8-1-0-1 and have played an AHL low 10 home games.

-Rockford has played five straight overtime games on the road.

-Of those five overtime games, four have gone to the shootout.

-Rockford allowed a season-low 14 shots on Saturday toQuadCity, including just two in the third period.

Hot Hog Week 11:
Center Martin St. Pierre continues to tear up the AHL. St. Pierre had points in all three games for Rockford in Week 11 and now has an eight-game point streak. The center also leads the AHL in scoring with 36 points.

Upcoming Games:
Tuesday, Dec. 18 atSan Antonio. The game starts at 7 p.m. Rockford looks to extend its unbeaten streak to 11 against the Rampage. The game is the final regular season match-up in San Antonio and the fifth of six overall on the season between the teams.

Friday, Dec. 21 at Grand Rapids. Game time is set for 6 p.m. The IceHogs three-game road trip ends in Grand Rapids against the Griffins. The game is the final of the season between Rockford and Grand Rapids. The Hogs are 3-0-0-0 against the Griffins so far this season.

Saturday, Dec. 16 vs.MilwaukeeAdmirals. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. For the first time ever the IceHogs and Admirals meet. The former affiliates drop the puck for the first of 10 regular season meetings on Saturday. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs Santa Hat from the Rockford Park District

Where to Watch the IceHogs:
IceHogs fans can now catch every IceHogs regular season game live on TV! Every IceHogs home game during the 2007-08 season can be viewed on Insight Cable Channel-57. When the IceHogs are on the road fans can watch them live at Damon’s Grill in Rockford. Fans can take advantage of great Bud Light specials and food specials at Damon’s Grill.

No Hog Talk This Week At Cousin’s Bar and Grill:
There will not be a Bud Light Hog Talk tonight at Cousin’s Bar and Grill because the IceHogs are on the road in San Antonio. The show will return on Monday, Jan. 6. The show is hosted by Jim Stone and Double T and features IceHogs players and coaches. The show runs from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and can also be heard live on 1330AM WNTA.
