Dominic Toninato's OT Winner Gives Rockford Weekend Sweep

Rockford, IL - The Rockford IceHogs skated to a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday night inside the BMO Center over the Iowa Wild.
Joey Anderson opened the scoring for the Hogs at 7:08 of the 1st period when he chipped a net front pass to the crease and had the puck bounce in.
In the 2nd period, David Spacek countered back with a power play goal for the Wild to tie the game at 1-1. Three minutes later, the Hogs swiped the lead right back thanks to a Dominic Toninato tally from the back post off of Brayden Hislop feed from the blue line.
The Wild struck back for two quick goals to grab a 3-2 advantage. Nicolas Aubé-Kubel and Ben Jones scored for the visitors to give Iowa a lead heading into the 3rd.
With ten minutes to go in regulation, Kevin Lombardi pocketed his 10th of the season to bring the Hogs back even at 3-3.
In overtime, Toninato snagged his second goal of the game and the game-winner when Kevin Korchinski fed a perfect cross-crease pass.
