Rockford, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forward Rob Klinkhammer to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Rockford’s training camp roster now stands at 27 players, including 16 forwards, eight defensemen and three goalies.
Klinkhammer, 24, is entering his fourth season with the IceHogs. He currently ranks third all-time in games played with Rockford, totaling 224 over the past three seasons. In that span, he has accumulated 103 points. Last season he had 46 points in 76 games (17g-29a) with the IceHogs. Klinkhammer also made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks last season, playing on Dec. 17 against the Dallas Stars.
