RADJA RECALLED TO ROCKFORD
Winger heads back to IceHogs
Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Thursday that the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League has recalled winger Mike Radja from the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Fresno Falcons.
Radja has played in one game with Rockford this season and the recall is his second of the campaign. The Yorkville, Ill. native was loaned to Fresno on Monday and notched 2g-3a-5pts in two games with the Falcons at Idaho this week.
The winger currently leads the Falcons with seven goals and 12 points through eight games in 2008-09. The ’08-09 season marks Radja’s first full professional seasons after skating fours years at the University of New Hampshire.
