Quenneville Activated from IR, Assigned to Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks today announced they have activated forward John Quenneville from injured reserve and assigned him to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

Quenneville, 23, appeared in a career-high 19 NHL games with New Jersey last year, tallying a goal during the 2018-19 campaign. He also notched 39 points (18g, 21a) in 37 AHL games for the Binghamton Devils.

The Edmonton, Alberta native was originally selected 30th overall by New Jersey in the 2014 NHL Draft. He made his NHL on Dec. 1, 2016 vs. the Blackhawks and has since collected two goals and three assists over 33 career NHL games with New Jersey.

Quenneville also enters the 2019-20 campaign with 119 points (46g, 73a) in 138 career AHL games with the Devils from 2016-19. He was named an AHL All-Star during the 2016-17 campaign after tallying 46 points (14g, 32a) in 58 games during the regular season and three goals and one assist in four Calder Cup playoff contests.
