Aliu made his debut with the IceHogs April 5 in a 3-0 win over the San Antonio Rampage and recorded two penalty minutes; in a 3-1 loss to the Peoria Rivermen April 9 Aliu was a -2. The IceHogs face the Houston Aeros in the first round of the AHL Playoffs beginning Friday in Rockford.

Boston College made their third straight Frozen Four appearance against North Dakota and won 6-1. Bertram scored a goal and an assist. BC then faced Notre Dame in the final and won the NCAA title with a 4-1 win. Bertram assisted on Nathan Gerbe's game winner in the second period; he finished his season with 10 goals and 27 assists in 43 games.

Unice made his third post season start and stopped 25 shots to lead Kitchener to a 6-2 win and a series sweep over Sarnia. Unice may start in place of Steve Mason for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against against Sault Ste. Marie Wednesday. Unice is 3-0 with a .905 SV% and a 2.47 GAA in the playoffs.
