Akim Aliu

Aliu did not play over the weekend due to a minimum four game suspension as the London Knights defeated the Whalers 6-3 Friday and fell to Sarnia 5-0 Saturday. He recorded an assist and was suspended after acquiring two penalty minutes for interference, two for roughing, two for instigator, five for fighting, 10-minute misconduct and game misconduct in the 7-4 loss against Windsor Thursday. He has appeared in three games for the Knights registering two goals, two assists and 15 penalty minutes.

Kyle Beach

Beach did not play due to back spasms as Everett defeated Tri-City 7-6 in overtime Tuesday. He registered one goal in a 3-2 win over Spokane Friday. Beach acquired 14 penalty minutes in a 3-1 loss Saturday against Edmonton, with two minutes for hooking, two minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct and 10-minute misconduct. In nine appearances with Everett this season, he has four goals, seven assists, 26 penalty minutes and a plus-6 rating.

Brynäs IF fell 6-0 to MODO Tuesday, 1-2 to Rögle BK Thursday and 1-4 to Södertälje SK Saturday. The club currently holds an 7-8-3 record. Carlsson has one assist, two penalty minutes in 19 contests for the season.

Danis-Pepin acquired two penalty minutes as Maine defeated Niagara 4-2 Friday. The following evening he tallied an assist in the second period in a 4-1 win over Niagara. Danis-Pepin has two assists and seven penalty minutes on the season.

Shawn Lalonde

Lalonde posted one assist and two penalty minutes for fighting as Belleville defeated Peterborough 5-1 Wednesday. In a 4-1 win over Owen Sound on Saturday, Lalonde scored a goal on the power play in the first period, acquired five penalty minutes for fighting in the second and was named the second star of the game. The following evening Lalonde was held scoreless as the Friars posted a 3-2 win over Mississauga. He has four goals, nine assists, 23 penalty minutes and a plus-five rating on the season.

Lavin was scoreless over the weekend, as Providence College lost 9-4 on Friday and 5-1 Saturday to Massachusetts. In three contests this season, Lavin has not registered at point and has acquired two penalty minutes. The Friars are currently 2-4-0 on the season.

Makarov secured one goal as St. Petersburg fell 3-2 to Khabarovsk AMUR Tuesday. He was scoreless over the weekend, as St. Petersburg defeated Novosibirsk 1-0 Friday and Novokuznetsk 1-0 Saturday. In 12 games this season, Makarov has two goals, one assist and six penalty minutes.

Unice did not appear as the Kitchener Rangers posted a 3-1 loss to the Barrie Colts Thursday. Unice registered an assist in the third period as Kitchener lost 2-6 to Plymouth Saturday. The following evening, the Rangers lost 2-3 to Saginaw. Unice has appeared in six contests this season, logging 339 minutes, 21 GA and 3.72 GAA.
