PROMO-PACKED WEEKEND AT THE BMO

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs playoff push heats up with a pair of divisional home games this weekend at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The weekend’s slate of promotions is highlighted by a Dean Lowry Bobblehead giveaway (courtesy of Pepsi Zero Sugar) and Country Night with live music from StateLine on Friday, and a dri-fit T-shirt giveaway (courtesy of Peak Fitness) and Fitness Night on Saturday.
FRIDAY, MARCH 23 vs. MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS
Time: Puck drop is at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Blues Flame Lounge opens at 5:15 p.m (Fans ages 21+).
Country Night: Enjoy live music from local country band “StateLine” throughout the evening’s contest, beginning at 6 p.m. The group will perform on the stage behind section 101 before and after the IceHogs game, and during each intermission. Following the conclusion of the game, StateLine will flip around its band setup to play music facing out towards the concourse-area of the Kids Korner. Fans are invited to stop by that area of the BMO concourse to listen to the live music and enjoy additional drink specials during the postgame festivities.
Blues Flame Lounge Pregame Party (presented by Vintage @ 501): Fans ages 21 and older can kick-off the weekend with a Pregame Party at the Blues Flame Lounge (presented by Vintage @ 501), located on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse. The event includes live music by Hobson’s Choice, and will also feature free appetizers and happy-hour specials.
Dean Lowry Bobblehead Giveaway: The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a free bobblehead of Green Bay Packers defensive end and Rockford native, Dean Lowry, courtesy of Pepsi Zero Sugar. Several of the bobbleheads will be autographed by Lowry and mixed in randomly with the full set of 2,500 bobbleheads. Friday’s giveaway is the third and final bobblehead in the IceHogs’ “Our Town, Our Team” bobblehead series, which highlights local athletes who have reached MLB (Jake Smolinski), the NBA (Fred VanVleet) and NFL (Lowry).
Lowry will also be in attendance on Friday to participate in a ceremonial puck drop and in-game trivia about his football career.
Goodwill Night: The IceHogs will host an item drive on Friday night benefitting Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois. Fans who make a donation of new or gently-used items will receive a ticket voucher good for two free upper endzone tickets to any first-round home playoff game this season or any October home game during the 2018-19 campaign. Donations can be made at the Box Office or at the Season Ticket Holder entrances.
Suggested donations include paper products, microwavable food items, non-perishable food items and gently-used clothing. The collected items will be donated to Goodwill.
SATURDAY, MARCH 24 vs. CHICAGO WOLVES
Time: Puck drop is at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Fitness night: Fans will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the IceHogs players’ fitness routines through several in-game videos on the video board. The series of video clips will highlight the workout techniques and nutrition routines of Rockford’s goalie Jeff Glass, forward William Pelletier and Strength and Conditioning Coach Shane Lawson, and Dean Lowry.
Dri-fit T-shirt Giveaway: The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a free IceHogs dri-fit T-shirt, courtesy of Peak Fitness. Shirt sizes of medium and XL will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Illinois Lottery Cup: The IceHogs and Wolves will square off in the 10th Illinois Lottery Cup matchup of the 2017-18 season. The Wolves currently boast a two-point edge in the current Lottery Cup standings with a 4-1-3-1 record against the Hogs this year.
