ROCKFORD, Ill – The Rockford IceHogs open a four-game road trip with a Wednesday night showdown against the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center.

Matchup: The IceHogs (37-25-4-4, 4th Central) swept last week’s three-game slate, and enter Wednesday with a four-game win streak and points in 14 of their last 17 games (12-3-1-1 in that span). In addition, the Hogs kick-off their road swing boasting points in a season-high seven straight road games since March 10.
Forward Chris DiDomenico notched an assist in Saturday’s tilt with the San Jose Barracuda to extend his point streak to a team season-high eight straight games. He is Rockford’s first skater with points in more than six consecutive games during the 2017-18 season, and takes the ice tonight with 12 points (4g, 8a) during his current point streak.
In net, Rockford features the return of goaltender Collin Delia, who was assigned to the IceHogs from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday. Delia is unbeaten in regulation over his last nine AHL appearances, combining for a 7-0-1-1 record, 2.07 GAA and .926 save percentage in that span dating back to Feb. 18.
San Antonio (33-27-10-0, 6th Pacific) welcomes the IceHogs with points in seven of its last 10 contests and a 6-3-1-0 record over that stretch. The Rampage have dropped back-to-back games against Rockford, but currently own one-point advantage in the overall season series with a 3-2-0-0 clip against the IceHogs in 2017-18.
Forward Andrew Agozzino leads San Antonio both in scoring on the year and against Rockford in the season’s series. Agozzino enters Wednesday with 39 points (19g, 20a) in 67 games this year, including a team-high four points (2g, 2a) in five contests against the Hogs. The forward has also logged nine points (6g, 3a) over his last 11 appearances since March 6.
Between the pipes, rookie netminder Ville Husso has starred with a 15-13-5 record, 2.32 GAA and .926 save percentage in 37 appearances. He currently ranks fourth in the league in save percentage and seventh in GAA as of Wednesday morning.
