Rockford begins homestand with a 1-0-1-1 record
Week 10 Recap
After scoring 16 goals in their previous 10 games, the IceHogs matched that total in their three games during Week 10. The offensive outburst helped lead the team to a 1-0-1-1 record to open a season-high seven game homestand. Week 11 features three more games on home ice for Rockford including a pair against the Chicago Wolves and a contest against the Lake Erie Monsters.

Hot Hog Week 10:
Shawn Lalonde Defenseman
Rookie defenseman Shawn Lalonde turned in his first two career three-point games during Week 10 of the AHL regular season. Lalonde helped jump start Rockford’s offense on Wednesday when he chipped in a goal and two assists in the IceHogs 8-5 win against the Texas Stars. Then on Saturday, the first-year defenseman had another three point night, including a goal and two assists, in Rockford’s 6-5 overtime loss to Oklahoma City. Lalonde now has 3g-11a on the season.
Upcoming Games:
Wednesday, Dec. 15 vs. Chicago Wolves. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m. The Wolves return to the Rockford MetroCentre for the second time this season to open up a two-game set with the IceHogs in Rockford. Wednesday is another Taco Bell Dollar Days presented by WXRX. Fans can purchase $1 beers, hot dogs, soft drinks and companion tickets.
Friday, Dec. 17 vs. Chicago Wolves: Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. Chicago returns to the MetroCentre for the second time in three days to take on the IceHogs. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs poster courtesy of Comcast, Medicine Man and Meridian.
Saturday, Dec. 18 vs. Lake Erie Monsters: Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. Rockford hosts the Monsters for the second time this season at the Rockford MetroCentre. The first 2,500 fans to the game will pick up an IceHogs Pillow courtesy of OSF and The Eagle 96.7 FM.
Bud Light Hog Talk Is Back Tonight At Swilligan’s Pub:
Bud Light Hog Talk returns to Swilligan’s Pub tonight. Swillgan’s Pub is located in downtown Rockford at 200 North Church St. Fans can join Mike Peck from 6-7 p.m. tonight as he chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. This week’s guests include IceHogs defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin and rookie forward Peter LeBlanc along with Head Coach Bill Peters. Stop by and take advantage of some great food and Bud Light specials. If you can’t make it, tune into 1330 AM, WNTA.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all of the IceHogs regular-and post-season games on the Hogs’ flagship radio station, Rockford’s Voice, WNTA-AM 1330 and 30 regular season games on ESPN Radio 1380-AM, WTJK.
