ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks today announced they have reassigned forward Nathan Noel from the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs to the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.
Noel, 20, was originally reassigned to the IceHogs on Feb. 1 and collected one goal with seven shots and 18 penalty minutes in 17 AHL games. He made his AHL debut on Feb. 13 vs. the Cleveland Monsters and scored the game-winning tally for his lone AHL goal in a 4-3 win vs. the San Antonio Rampage on Feb. 18.
The St. John’s, Newfoundland native returns to the Fuel where he has logged nine points (4g, 5a) and 18 PIMs in 17 ECHL contests this season.
