Noel and Watson Return to Indy Fuel

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Rockford IceHogs announced today that forward Nathan Noel has been re-assigned to the Indy Fuel of the ECHL. The IceHogs also announced that forward Spencer Watson has been released from his professional tryout agreement.

Noel, 22, dressed in eight games with the IceHogs, recording 10 penalty minutes. The St. John’s, Newfoundland native holds a career-high 12 points (four goals, eight assists) and 24 penalty minutes in 24 games with the Fuel.

Watson, 23, appeared in five games with the IceHogs this season. The London, Ontario native returns to the Fuel as their leading scorer with 39 points (20 goals, 19 assists) in 33 games and is currently tied for 12th in league scoring. At the time of his call-up on Jan. 5, Watson sat third in the ECHL in total scoring.
