Winger has recorded nearly a point per game with Toledo
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs have recalled right wing Derek Nesbitt from the Toledo Walleye (ECHL), Chicago Blackhawks General Manger of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Friday.
Nesbitt, 27, has recorded 31 points (10g-21a) with the Walleye in 2009-10 in 32 games. The Egmondville, Ontario native began the season with the IceHogs, skating in 11 games and tallying a goal and an assist.
The winger has joined the team in Rockford and will make the trip to Milwaukee tonight for the game against the Admirals.
