MORIN, KLINKHAMMER ASSIGNED TO ROCKFORD

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forwards Jeremy Morin and Rob Klinkhammer to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.

Morin, 19, recorded the first goal of his National Hockey League career on Wednesday night at the United Center against Dallas. He has registered two points (G, A) and a +3 plus/minus rating in six games with Chicago this season. The Auburn, New York, native also shares second on Rockford with six goals, including a team-high four power-play markers, in 17 AHL tilts in his professional debut.

Klinkhammer, 24, made his National Hockey League debut on Wednesday against the Stars, recording three hits and
a +1 rating in 11:36 of ice time. He has tallied nine points (3G, 6A) in 20 AHL contests this season with the IceHogs.

Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 10 vs. Milwaukee Admirals: Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs host the Admirals at the MetroCentre for the first time in 2010-11. The game is the second of ten meetings on the campaign.
