Chicago, IL - The Chicago Blackhawks bested the St. Louis Blues 4-2 on the final night of the Prospect Showcase at the Blackhawks Ice Center.

The exhibition contest marked the second of two matchups featuring prospect pools of the Central Division rivals.

A.J. Spellacy banged in a rebound on the doorstep seven minutes into regulation to give the Hawks the first goal of the game for the second-straight night.

Early in the 2nd, the Blues evened the game at 1-1 off a net front deflection from Felix Trudeau. Seconds later, Parker Holmes countered back for the Blackhawks, firing a wrister from the right circle for the 2-1 advantage.

Wearing the "C" all week, Taige Harding kept the intensity on high in the middle frame with another Chicago fight.

With eight minutes to go in the 2nd, Martin Misiak received a net-front feed from Marek Vanacker and notched his second goal of the showcase.

Chicago pushed the lead to 4-1 with Spellacy connecting again, this time from the bumper position on the man-advantage.

In the 3rd, Jakub Stancl cut the defecit to 4-2, but the tandem goaltending from Adam Gajan and Jason Schaubel shut the door for the win.
