Minnesota Claims Ebbett Off Waivers

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that center Andrew Ebbett has been claimed on waivers by the Minnesota Wild.
Ebbett, 26, recorded one goal and two penalty minutes in 10 games with the Blackhawks after being claimed on waivers from the Anaheim Ducks on October 17. The Calgary, Alberta, native was also held scoreless in two games with the Ducks earlier this season and has collected 33 points (9G, 24A) and 28 penalty minutes in 63 regular-season contests over parts of three professional campaigns with Anaheim (2007-09) and Chicago.
The Blackhawks play the second of six consecutive games on the road when they face off against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday at 9:00 P.M. (CT). Locally, the game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet and heard on Chicago’s WGN Radio 720.
