METROCENTRE ANNOUNCES SPEEDWAY AUTO MALL AS PARTY DECK SPONSOR

Three-Year Naming Rights Partnership for New Entertainment Area

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford MetroCentre officials announced Monday that Speedway Auto Mall has agreed to a three-year partnership to be the naming rights sponsor of the arena’s renovated party deck.

The “Speedway Auto Mall Party Deck,” located on the third floor of the southeast end of the arena, serves as a special amenity for patrons of the MetroCentre. The entertainment area overlooks the arena floor and includes a private bar, restrooms and seating for up to 300 people. The party deck is also the locations of Hog Heaven, the Arena Club and Raptors Ranch. It can be rented out for private parties during MetroCentre events and on non-event nights.

“We are excited to partner with the MetroCentre as they lead a revitalization of the downtown area,” said Eddie Mecum, Jr. of Speedway Auto Mall. “We recently celebrated our ten year anniversary, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with an investment in our community.”

The newly-named party deck will display large banners featuring luxury automobiles and Speedway Auto Mall signage.

“The MetroCentre is committed to providing a one-of-a-kind experience for our patrons,” said MetroCentre General Manager Corey Pearson. “The Speedway Auto Mall Party Deck gives them the chance to enjoy an event while getting a top of the line VIP experience with their friends, family and co-workers.”

The MetroCentre is on schedule to complete major renovations by the end of the year. When finished, the MetroCentre will open a newly constructed entrance on the corner of Church and Chestnut streets as well as ten new private luxury suites for purchase.
