MEET FIVE BLACKHAWKS PLAYERS AT METROCENTRE ON SATURDAY

Blackhawks Night presented by Taco Bell will feature a silent auction and autographs

Rockford, Ill.- Five Blackhawks players and Assistant Coach Mike Haviland will be on hand at the Rockford IceHogs game Saturday against the Peoria Rivermen at the Rockford MetroCentre as a part of Blackhawks Night presented by Taco Bell.

Blackhawks players Colin Fraser, Antti Niemi, Niklas Hjalmarsson, Troy Brower and Kris Versteeg as well as Haviland will sign autographs from 6-6:50 p.m. in the new upper concourse and then again during the first intermission.

Less than 1,000 tickets remain for the game, but are still available at metrocentre.com, by calling (815) 968-5222 or stopping by the MetroCentre Box Office. The puck drops between Rockford and Peoria at 7:05 p.m.

In addition to meeting the Blackhawks players, fans will also have the opportunity to bid on hockey memorabilia as a part of a silent auction to benefit the IceHogs Charitable Foundation and Blackhawks Charities.

Plus, the IceHogs are giving away five game worn jerseys from the 2009-10 season. All jerseys will be drawn at random and fans can sign up to win at the game. The IceHogs jerseys to be given away are Rob Klinkhammer, Pete MacArthur, Jassen Cullimore, Kyle Greentree and David Phillips.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, March 3 vs. Lake Erie Monsters. The game gets underway at 7:05 p.m. IceHogs game-worn jerseys of Danny Bois, Akim Aliu, Jonathan Carlsson, Bryan Bickell and Joe Fallon will be given away during the game. It’s also a Golden Goal game, where fans will have a chance to win $10,000 if the IceHogs score with 9:10 left on the clock in the third period. High School and college students will also be able to get the best available ticket after 6 p.m. for just $10 as a part of WXRX’s Student Rush program.
