ROCKFORD, Ill. ā The Rockford IceHogs today announced they are giving a limited number of fans the opportunity to meet, take a picture with and receive an autograph from Stanley Cup champion Bryan Bickell at this Saturdayās game at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
The first 200 fans to purchase the package will be guaranteed the opportunity to meet Bickell during the IceHogs game against the San Jose Barracuda at 6 p.m. Each fan who purchases the package will receive an autograph (limit one autograph per person), one picture of Bickell and can take a photo with the former Rockford and Chicago Blackhawks winger.
The meet-and-greet package is available to the first 200 fans for just $20. The package will go on sale to Season Ticket Holders on Tuesday, March 27 at 11 a.m., and any remaining tickets will be released to the general public beginning Wednesday, March 28 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the IceHogs front office at 815-986-6465. Please note, each fan may purchase a maximum of four meet-and-greet tickets.
Proceeds from the meet-and-greet package will benefit the Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation.
Fans must have a ticket to the IceHogs game on Saturday to participate in the meet-and-greet with Bickell. Those who purchase the package will receive their meet-and-greet ticket at the check-in table by the Measure Up Wall on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse on Saturday prior to puck drop. Bickell will be signing autographs and taking pictures in the Kids Korner from 5:15 to 5:50 p.m. and during the first period of the IceHogs game.
In addition, fans can also purchase a seat to ride on the Hamboni with Bickell during the second intermission of the game on Saturday. Nine seats are available for purchase for just $25 each, and fans can secure a spot in the Hamboni by calling 815-986-6465. Seats will be available to Season Ticket Holders on Tuesday, and any remaining seats will be released to the general public on Wednesday.
Bickell is attending Saturdayās game as part of the IceHogsā annual Jersey Auction Night, sponsored by Insurance King. Two of the primary benefactors for this yearās event include the Bryan & Amanda Bickell Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society ā Greater Illinois Chapter. During his career, Bickell skated in 395 career NHL games with the Blackhawks and Carolina Hurricanes, and parts of four seasons with the IceHogs before announcing his retirement in 2017 due to a diagnosis of MS.
