Rockford, Ill.- Hammy Hog will be out and about at several locations in the Rock River Valley region over the next week.
The Rockford IceHogs’ mascot will join the IceHogs Booster Club at the Young at Heart parade at 9 a.m. on Saturday in Loves Park.
Hammy will also be at the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk Kickoff at Keeling-Puri Peace Plaza on Perryville Road south of east Riverside Blvd. on Thursday, June 3 from 5-6 p.m. and then head over to Hooters of Rockford on Perryville Road to serve as celebrity judge at a swimsuit contest at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, June 5, Hammy will join the Rockford Lions Clubs for their annual Fish and Fun event at Rock Cut State Park at 10 a.m. and then head over to the Rockford Public Library’s downtown location at about noon for the Reading Club kickoff event. He will finish off the day in Crystal Lake for a Guns and Hoses charity hockey game and mascot party.
