First Year Forward will Represent Toledo in the 2011 ECHL All-Star Game
Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo Walleye have announced today that forward Peter Leblanc was selected by the ECHL to represent the Toledo Walleye January 26th in the 2011 ECHL All-Star Game in Bakersfield, California.
Leblanc drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 7th of the 2006 NHL entry draft, collected 22 points (eight goals, and 12 assists) in just 22 games this season with the Walleye. The native of Hamilton, Ontario is currently on recall to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In ten contests with the IceHogs, Peter has five goals and three assists.
Next Home Game: Friday, Jan. 7 vs. Toronto Marlies: Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. Rockford returns home for the first time in 2011 for their annual home tilt against Toronto. The game is the first of two on the campaign with the Marlies.
