Ice Hogs Primary Logo
Rockford, Ill.- Over the summer, icehogs.com is presenting a series of question and answer sessions every couple of weeks with players from the 2007-08 season.

Rockford IceHogs winger Kris Versteeg will take a break from his summer training (or maybe his golf game) to chat with IceHogs fans.

Submit a question for Kris by e-mailing icehogs@icehogs.com. In the subject line, include "Kris Versteeg Q&A." All e-mails must include a first name and hometown in order to be considered.
The deadline to summit a question is 5 p.m. on Monday, June 30. Accepted questions will be posted with Versteeg's responses on icehogs.com on Wednesday, July 2.

Last season Versteeg finished fourth on the IceHogs with 49 points and first with 174 penalty minutes in 55 games. The Lethbridge, Alberta native also recorded four points with the Chicago Blackhawks, including his first NHL goal and assist, over 11 games. He made his NHL debut against the Calgary Flames on Nov. 22, 2007.

Versteeg stepped it up in the 2008 Calder Cup playoffs, recording 11 points and a team-leading six goals in 12 games. He came to the Chicago Blackhawks organization via a trade late in the 2006-07 season and was drafted #134 in 2004 by the Boston Bruins.
