Kane, Burish To Appear At Arctic Ice Arena

Chicago Blackhawks forwards Patrick Kane and Adam Burish will visit Arctic Ice Arena in Orland Park on Monday, December 10 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Kane and Burish will be on the ice to assist with practice for the Arctic Ice Arena House League Mites and then the two Blackhawks will sign autographs for fans in attendance.

Burish is in his second season with the Blackhawks after playing on the 2006 University of Wisconsin NCAA Championship team. Burish is noted for his work ethic and is the latest player ever taken in the draft by the Blackhawks to appear in a game for the club. He was drafted 282nd overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Kane is in his first season in the NHL and currently leads all NHL rookies in scoring with seven goals and 20 assists for 27 points. Kane was the 1st overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Arctic Ice Arena is located at 10700 West 160th St. in Orland Park, about one mile west of the intersection of 159th St. and LaGrange Road. Arctic Ice Arena is a member of the Chicago Blackhawks Rink Partnership Program. The Blackhawk players appearing are subject to change.
