The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that defenseman Doug Janik has been claimed off waivers by the Dallas Stars.
The Blackhawks’ training camp roster is now at 34 active players, which includes 20 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goaltenders.
Chicago (3-1-1) will round out its preseason slate with three games in four nights, beginning when the squad faces off against Dallas at American Airlines Center tonight at 7:30 P.M. After a Friday tilt in Colorado, the Blackhawks return home for their preseason finale at the United Center on Sunday when they battle the Avalanche at 6:00 P.M.
