ICEHOGS TO RING BELLS WITH SALVATION ARMY THURSDAY

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs are teaming up with the Salvation Army to spread Christmas cheer throughout the Rockford area. Join the Hogs players as they ring bells at the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle stands at Schnucks (6410 E State St) and Valli Produce (5880 E State St) grocery stores on E State St., Thursday, Dec. 15. Fans are invited to stop by the bell-ringing stations from 5-7 p.m. to meet the IceHogs players, take pictures, make a donation and even get autographs from each Hogs skater.
The following players are scheduled as bell-ringers for the Salvation Army Thursday evening:
Schnucks (6410 E State St) Valli Produce (5880 E State St)
Jake Dowell (5-6 p.m.) Jake Hildebrand (5-6 p.m.)
Luke Johnson (5-6 p.m.) Chris DeSousa (5-6 p.m.)
Martin Lundberg (6-7 p.m.) Carl Dahlstrom (6-7 p.m.)
Viktor Svedberg (6-7 p.m.) Ville Pokka (6-7 p.m.)

In addition, fans who make a donation of at least $20 at either Red Kettle post will receive two ticket vouchers for Hogs’ Red Kettle Night (Dec. 17) vs. Manitoba.

Time: Puck drop is 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Red Kettle Night: The Salvation Army band will host a pregame concert at the Blues Flame Lounge on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse, before performing the National Anthem for Saturday’s contest. The Salvation Army is also staffing their Red Kettle posts on the BMO main concourse throughout the evening’s game, and fans who make a donation of at least $20 will receive two ticket vouchers for the following Wednesday home game (Dec. 21) when Rockford hosts an Illinois Lottery Cup Series matchup against the Chicago Wolves.
