ICEHOGS TO HOST OUTDOOR PRACTICE IN BELVIDERE
Watch the practice for free on Tuesday from 6-7 p.m.
Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, will return to its outdoor roots on Tuesday, Dec. 15 for a free, outdoor practice at the new Riverside Ice Arena in Belvidere.
The outdoor practice is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. The practice session is free and open to the public as fans are invited to come and get a glimpse of the IceHogs team up close and personal.
WXRX 104.9 FM will be on hand passing out a limited number of IceHogs pucks to fans during a live remote broadcast at the practice. Following the on-ice practice, the IceHogs will hold an autograph session for those in attendance.
The Hogs will be using the outdoor practice to prep for a pair of weekend games on the road against division rivals; the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday, Dec. 18 and Chicago Wolves on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Next Home Game: Dec. 21 vs. Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. The IceHogs and Admirals square off in a border battle at the BMO. The first 2,500 fans through the turnstiles will receive a Teuvo Teravainen Bobblehead thanks to Dental Dimensions. It’s also another “Winning Weekday.” Every time the IceHogs win at home on a weekday, each fan in attendance will receive a free ticket to the next weekday game. Fans can also enjoy $2 beers, sodas, hot dogs, and companion tickets.
