Milwaukee, WI - The Rockford IceHogs fell short against the Milwaukee Admirals 2-0 on Tuesday night inside Panther Arena.
Milwaukee's Magnus Chrona and Rockford's Drew Commesso kept both offenses off the board in the first period, despite each facing penalty kills.
Three minutes into the middle frame, the Admirals broke through with Jake Lucchini's eighth of the season. The Milwaukee forward floated the puck in the top corner of the net from the outside the crease.
With just 10 seconds to go in the 2nd, the Ads doubled their lead thanks to a Zach L'Heureux tally off the near post.
Rockford pushed in the 3rd period, but couldn't beat Chrona who finished with a 30-save shutout. Ryan Ufko tacked on an empty-net goal for the 3-0 Milwaukee win.
