Kyle Hagel has skated in 40 games for Las Vegas in 2009-10
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs have signed left wing Kyle Hagel to a professional try-out agreement, Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Tuesday.
Hagel, 25, has appeared in 40 games with the Las Vegas Wranglers in 2009-10, notching seven goals, seven assists and 75 penalty minutes. The Hamilton, Ontario native made his American Hockey League debut with the Rochester Americans in 2008-09, recording five PIMs in three games.
After skating with Princeton University for four seasons (2003-08), the winger made his professional debut with the Fresno Falcons in 2008-09. He recorded seven goals, six assists and 143 penalty minutes in 38 games between the Falcons and Reading Royals.
