ICEHOGS SIGN BRITTAIN TO PTO
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks, announced they have signed forward Josh Brittain to a PTO.
Brittain, 25, appeared in one preseason game with the IceHogs, registering seven penalty minutes. He has seen action in nine games for the Indy Fuel this season, tallying three goals and one assist (4 pts) along with a team-high 36 penalty minutes.
The Milton, Ont. native split time between three ECHL teams during the 2014-15 season, the Kalamazoo Wings, Missouri Mavericks, and Ontario Reign, spending the bulk of his time in Missouri. In 73 games, he accumulated 46 points (22g-24a) and 125 penalty minutes.
Next Game: Sunday, Nov. 22 vs. Lake Erie at 4 p.m. The IceHogs face Lake Erie for the first time all season on Stanley Cup Night at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Rockford will celebrate its alumni and the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks by displaying the Cup for fans in attendance. Hub Printing will give away 2,500 posters celebrating the Blackhawks championships.
