IceHogs Sign Brayden Hislop to PTO
Grand Rapids, MI - The Rockford IceHogs and General Manager Mark Bernard announced that the team has signed defenseman Brayden Hislop to a PTO (Professional Tryout Agreement) contract.
Hislop, 22, has skated in 36 games with the Jacksonville Icemen this season and recorded 11 points (3G, 8A). The St. Clements, ON native is in his second professional season in the ECHL with the Icemen.
Before turning pro, the left-handed defenseman played parts of three OHL seasons between Saginaw, North Bay and Guelph. This is Hislop's first AHL call-up.
The IceHogs are back in action on Wednesday, March 4 taking on the Griffins. Puck drop in Grand Rapids is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT.
