IceHogs Sign Blackhawks 2014 Draft Pick, Ivan Nalimov, to PTO

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League, announced today that they have signed goaltender Ivan Nalimov to a professional tryout agreement.

Nalimov, 25, has spent the past six seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), including 2019-20. He's played a total of 152 games as a member of six different clubs in the KHL and has posted a combined record of 58-62-14, goals-against average of 2.62 and save percentage of .912%.

The Novokuznetsk, Russia native played the entire 2019-20 KHL regular season with HK Sochi, appearing in 24 matchups and going 7-14-1 with a goals-against average of 2.50 and a save percentage of .911%. He posted two shutouts this season to bring his career total to 14 in that category.

Nalimov was originally drafted in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
