ICEHOGS REVEAL BROVEMBER�S SPECIALTY JERSEY

Ugly Christmas Sweater Hinostroza

Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that the team will don special ugly Christmas sweater jerseys to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer in partnership with Brovember Inc.

The club will wear the specialty jerseys on Friday, Nov. 27 when they battle the Chicago Wolves in an Illinois Lottery Cup matchup. Game time is 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

A select number of the sweaters will be auctioned off at the game with proceeds benefitting the University of Illinois College of Medicine and prostate cancer research. Two of the specialty sweaters will also be up for auction online in the team’s eBay store, www.stores.ebay.com/Rockford-IceHogs, following the game.

Tickets for the Nov. 27 game, or any upcoming IceHogs home game, are available in person at the BMO Harris Bank Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location including Walmart, by phone at 815-968-5222 or by visiting icehogs.com.

The IceHogs have two other games on the 2015-16 schedule in which they will wear specialty jerseys; the team’s annual Pink in the Rink game on Saturday, Jan. 16 and the annual jersey auction game on Sunday, Mar. 20. Those jerseys will be revealed at a later date.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Nov. 7 vs. Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m.: The IceHogs will pay tribute to all armed service personnel with Military Appreciation Night when the Milwaukee Admirals come to town. The first 1,500 fans will receive bomber hats compliments of Pepsi.
