ICEHOGS RELEASE FORWARD AUGER FROM PTO
ROCKFORD, Ill – The American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs today announced they have released forward Justin Auger from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.
Auger, 24, skated in nine games with the IceHogs and tallied two goals on 13 shots. He made his team debut on Nov. 9 at Milwaukee and notched goals in each of his first two contests with Rockford. Auger also logged six penalty minutes during his stint with the IceHogs.
The Kitchener, Ontario native has spent each of the last four seasons at the AHL level with the Ontario Reign organization. He has combined for 112 points (56g, 56a) in 273 career AHL games from 2014-19.

The IceHogs host the Chicago Wolves in the fourth Illinois Lottery Cup matchup of the 2018-19 season. Rockford has won two of the first three games thus far in the series.
