ICEHOGS REDUCE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER
IceHogs training camp roster now stands at 17 forwards, seven defensemen, and one goaltender.
Rockford, Ill.- The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced today that they have reduced their training camp roster by 13 skaters.
Forward Daniel Ciampini, defensemen Sam Jardine and Nick Mattson, and goaltender Mac Carruth were assigned to Rockford’s ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel. Additionally, defensemen Mathieu Brisebois was assigned to the Norfolk Admirals.
Players released from their training camp tryouts include forwards Josh Brittain, Peter Schneider, Kyle Stroh, and Casey Thrush, defensemen Patrick Koudys, Ben Marshall and Kevin Quick, and goaltender Shane Owen.
Rockford's training camp roster now stands at 25 players including 17 forwards, seven defensemen and one goalie. The IceHogs will begin their ninth season as the Blackhawks top affiliate on Friday, Oct. 9 when they travel to San Jose to open the 2015-16 season.
