IceHogs Recall Goaltender Tom Aubrun from Indy Fuel
ROCKFORD, IL – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that they have recalled goaltender Tom Aubrun from his loan to the Indy Fuel of the ECHL.
Aubrun, 25, skated with the Fuel on Tuesday, making 31 saves against the Wheeling Nailers in a 6-0 setback. In four appearances with the Fuel this season, the Chamonix, France, native is 2-2-0 with a 4.43 goals-against average and .860 save percentage. He appeared in one contest with the IceHogs this season, making 17 saves in relief on Mar. 3 vs. Grand Rapids.
The IceHogs close their four-game homestand tonight, Thursday, Mar. 11 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at 6:00 p.m. at BMO Harris Bank Center.
